Data Action timeout during JMeter load test

  • Is it possible to bypass the default 30s timeout for custom data actions in Architect?
  • JMeter is hitting 50 concurrent threads and the HTTP POST to our backend keeps failing with 504 Gateway Timeout.
  • Genesys Cloud logs show the request dropped before the callback returns.
  • Running this from Singapore using JMeter 5.4.1.

Have you tried increasing the Data Action timeout setting in the Architect configuration, as the default 30s is often insufficient for heavy backend processing during load tests? Note: Exceeding the maximum allowed timeout (usually 60s) will cause the flow to fail regardless of your backend response time.
