Data Action - JSON Parse Exception

Fun one today. Is anyone else hitting a JSON parse exception when a data action in Architect returns a string instead of a JSON object? We’ve got a flow using POST to execute a data action - it’s supposed to return { "agentId": "1234" } but sometimes just spits back "1234". From what I’ve seen, the SDK ApiClient isn’t handling this gracefully - throws a com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.JsonMappingException: Unexpected token START_OF_STRING even with objectMapper.enable(DeserializationFeature.FAIL_ON_INVALID_SUBTYPE) set.

Seems like we could just wrap the entire response in braces on the backend, but is there a cleaner way to handle this within the Java SDK - like a custom deserializer or a pre-processing step? We’re on SDK 48.0.0, Java 11, and the Architect data action is a Spring Boot service - pretty standard setup.
