Why does the REST API Data Action fails when trying to map Zendesk ticket tags to Genesys Cloud custom attributes during our migration?
We are replacing Zendesk Support with Genesys Cloud and trying to preserve tag data via the Data Action API.
- Endpoint: POST /api/v2/integrations/dataactions
- Error: 400 Bad Request - “Invalid attribute mapping”
- Environment: Genesys Cloud EU-West
The JSON structure matches the documentation, but the response indicates the custom attribute does not exist, even though it is clearly visible in the admin console.
