is anyone using the cpd recording functionality in outbound?
The output filename (in gvp mcp record folder) is coded in some way ie B447E47E-8C97-41FF-4296-971E35640DD7.wav
Does anyone what this would mean and how to change it?
It would be useful to have the outcome result in there somehow, but could be living in a dream world for that to be possible..
It looks like the MCP currently does not set cpd record filename - only format and path. May be,options on SIP server can set this (record-filename,emergency-filename)…
Recordings are recorded to the directory that is configured as the value for the
[msml].cpd.record.basepath parameter. The format type and file extension are
determined by the value of the [msml].cpd.record.fileext parameter. The
name of the recording will be:
cpd_record_basepath\X-Genesys-Session-ID_GlobalCallId.cpd_record_file
ext
Can I use the cpd server to record cpd, while using media server to perform it?
The media server cannot write the call result into its output file, whereas the cpd server can however we are using media server to do the cpd.
The media server output file is what looks like the mcp id.
