A good question. As I said from my perspective the developer binaries provided by me are a gift from me to the Genesys community. As such there should be nothing stopping you going into Online / Live mode (please let me know if this is not the case). This way you can set a breakpoint on an IRD block and determine the path for that 1 in 1000s of calls scenario.
If you configure the options in Genesys Strategy Analyser.exe.Config it should connect to ConfigServer and the Message server used for routing. Also depending on whether you are using URS 7.x or 8.x you need to configure the option “URS8Support”.
From a licensing perspective the online mode uses the PSDK. Therefore you will be prompted to confirm that the PSDK is licensed for use by either yourself or your client. Effectively this means you agree to the conditions defined in the Genesys document “genesys_license_agreement.pdf”.
Just to let you know that a couple of testers have reported the same problem. COM exception (0x86DB0904). It is possibly a Visio 2003 interop issue which I am trying to get to the bottom off. In the meantime if anybody wants a strategy converting then please just email the XML export to me: [email removed]
This just shows dropping some XML exports into it and then coverting them to Visio in real-time. I’ll post a video of the online mode when a get some time.
