In our lab environment, the configuration server gets disconnected repeatedly. And in the CME it display message as
Reconnected to configuration server. Aborted session is restored.
Sometimes it displays as Aborted session cannot be restored. Kindly looking forward your suggestions.

Check logs… Cfgserver logs, dbserver logs if dbserver is used.

In config logs and Db server logs, it is mentioned as the Error while retrieving backup config server info..
And in the CME. The configuration server does not have backup server, whether this is the problem for that issue?
Firewall between configserver and database that disconnects idleing sessions?
Show us some logs of confServ(at least), it will help… for now, it could be network, configuration, etc… can’t help with the details you provided.
Is there a frequency for those disconnection? each 60 sec, 60 min, 30 min ? By default, most firewalls are set to 60 minutes, it may be a reason for the disconnection. Also, you may want to set an ADDP between confServ and DB Server CFG.
