Check all forum message and find something, but all the same not working for me. So ask again. In newly installed test lab can’t setup historical reporing by CCPulse. Setup all components by step-by-step reference deployment guide. And all worked, all but not an historical report in CCPulse. When i start CCPulse it’s says “can’t connect to configured DB server”. Can anybody help me?
fanx for advice, but as i told later - i create everything as it describe by implementation guide. of course i add reporting statserver and damart DB DAP. and yes - i can able both - view the online status int the ccpulse and associate the column name to the historical tab by cca. but then i start ccp - it’s show this f%$^&*@ message - can’t connect to db =(
log level set as “debug”. and here is for last day

Is the DBserver used by the DAP started?
If it is started, does the user that you log into CCP have Specia Access(Read/Execute) on that DAP and DBServer?
yes, i can ping it. i can open network shared folder for templates storage. try setup another copy of CCP on server with db - same result =( maybe CCP try connect to wrong port number or samething ? but why ?!
Can you connect to the port of the DBServer from your PC? Do a telnet to that port and you should be able to connect, also, can you resolve by name the server? If not try adding the servers name to your hosts file and try again.
Hi all
well..i found what i seting up wrong/ when i creating new DAP for access to ETL DB - i choise server and choise different(free) port. And CCpulse trying connect to this port. But, i must choise the port number equal to port number on ETL DB server. Delete DAP, create new DAP and choise port equal to DB server port. After it all work propetly - CCpulse start wit out any warning and error message and we can create historical report.
