CCA in Hot-Standby

It has happened: one of servers running Data Sourcer has crashed leaving behind a very angry client who wants to know how they can implement CCA hot-standby. I know that Genesys offers CCA in Host-Standby, which I assume is two DataSourcers writing into one ODS; however, we have not tested this functionality yet.

I was wondering if anyone has ever implemented or played with it. Any issues to be aware of, other than the fact that it is no longer made? :slight_smile:

Hi Vic,

Well, the good news is that it is still supported and I think the latest version of Datasourcer was released two-three months ago. If you do not run to any bug, it runs fine. However the ODS does not have standard HA managed via SCS. Both apps are active but the app which first take control over ODS DB is set as primary.
