Can agent login with password in CME?

Can someone please help me?

I am faced with the dilemma: I need to ensure that agents login using their login names and passwords set in CME. Can this be accomplished by using TLib? If so, what function should be used?

If this cannot be done with TLib, how does one do it? How does one ensure that agents login the id’s they have been assigned?

You can do it with TAgentLogin function.

But, I do not think you can do it if you are using DDE. DDE supports only Login,dn,agent_id. Am I correct?

I want to know something how does everyone implement login authentication via softphone?

On many of our call centers, agents are just required to enter their agent login id in order to login. What are other possible ways to implement user authentication in Genesys?
