Adding Another Dialogic Card in VTO

I’m going to add another dialogic card in a VTO server that has one already. We are adding another dialogic card in the same server and I am wondering if there is any thing special that needs to be done? I know I need to connect the two cards together by using a bus cable, and configure the porsts in CME but is there anything on the card we need to configure?

The easily way is to have both old and new boards are of the same TYPE.

  • setting the “board ID” switch on the Dialogic card

    • the old board “should” be 0
    • the second board “should” be different than the old; e.g. “1”

  • the Dialogic configuration manager should “see” the new Dialogic card after installation int the tree structure.

If the new board is different AND it is Digital lne-side card (T1 or E1), please make sure that drivers / protocol configuration are properly installed.

Setting in Genesys CME should be straight-forwards by referring to current configuration.
