400 Bad Request on ServiceNow Knowledge Integration Source Creation

Greetings, Community,

Reporting a 400 Bad Request when attempting to create a ServiceNow Knowledge integration source. The request fails during the source configuration phase.

Details:

  • Endpoint: POST /api/v2/knowledge/knowledgebases/{knowledgeBaseId}/sources/servicenow
  • Environment: Production
  • SDK: Java SDK v112.0.0

The Resource Center article for Knowledge Integrations indicates that the request body must contain the necessary ServiceNow instance credentials and table mappings. However, the API returns a validation error despite the payload matching the required schema.

Request payload:

{
 "name": "ServiceNow_Prod_KB",
 "instanceUrl": "https://dev12345.service-now.com",
 "username": "api_user",
 "password": "securePassword123",
 "tableName": "kb_knowledge"
}

Response:
400 Bad Request - Invalid request body. Field 'tableName' is required or invalid.

Confirmed that the table exists in the ServiceNow instance and the user has read access. Tried using a different knowledgeBaseId to rule out resource-specific constraints, but the result is identical.
